How it works
Add a module
Your technician or electrician installs a Shelly module following our guide: next to the coin acceptor on token machines, or in the electrical panel for lights and air conditioning.
A QR on each device
Stick the device's QR code on it. Your customer scans it with Mercado Pago, picks the time and pays.
It runs for the time paid
The payment reaches the module, which switches the equipment on (or gives it the same signal as a token) and switches it off when time is up. Power metering confirms it started.
Before starting we check your machine or installation from a few photos and tell you if it is compatible.
USD 10 / ARS 15,000 per device per month
No contract and no percentage of what you collect.
- You buy the module once (a Shelly costs about USD 20 abroad, more in Argentina).
- Mercado Pago's fee on each payment is separate, as with any QR sale.
- At a self-service car wash, the fee is covered by less than 20 minutes of machine use per month.
Frequently asked questions
Do I need to replace my machine or installation?
No. The module is added to what you already have. On token machines, tokens keep working.
Will it work in my case?
If the equipment starts with a token, a coin or a switch, almost certainly yes. Send us a few photos and we will confirm before you buy anything.
Who installs it?
Your own technician or electrician, with our step-by-step guide. We take care of the payment system and the dashboard.
What if the internet goes down?
Token machines keep working with tokens, and anything that was on switches off when the paid time ends. QR payments come back as soon as the connection does.
Is it available now?
We are setting up the first pilots in Argentina, using Mercado Pago. If you are elsewhere, leave your details and tell us how your customers pay.
